Description:
This in person training course provides an introduction to key concepts, laws, and policies regarding ethical recruitment, sometimes also referred to as responsible recruitment, employer pays recruitment, or zero-fees recruitment - although ethical recruitment is about far more than just fees! Learn about the key elements of ethical recruitment, and how to reduce business risk, strengthen labor recruitment systems, verify and validate recruitment experiences of workers, and improve workers’ well-being through ground-truthed, practical case-study based approaches.
The course is currently offered as an in-person training, and later we will be organizing a three-hour single-session online training, and then later this year will be offered as a series of asynchronous modules as well - stay tuned!
Learning Objectives:
Understand the current regulatory environment and its relevance to the international labor recruitment process in South and Southeast Asia, and Thailand-Myanmar and Thailand-Cambodia corridors.
