About the event

Issara Institute, in collaboration with Legal Support for Children and Women (LSCW) to organize the second Multi Stakeholder meeting regarding the participants' perspectives from the first Multistakeholder meeting discussion conducted in March 2024 and Online Regional Cambodian CSOs meeting in May 2024. In this second Multi Stakeholder meeting is to support growing multi-stakeholder collaboration and human rights due diligence (HRDD) from the ground up regarding to the Inclusive Labor Monitoring Action Network, a framework for business-civil society collaboration toward more ethical supply chains through worker voice, partnership, and innovation.

Objectives of the Multi-Stakeholder Meeting:

  • To provide CSOs the industrial relations which is crucial for comprehensive due diligence in global supply chains. By promoting good labor practices and worker voice, contributing to a more ethical and sustainable supply chain.
  • To provide relevant stakeholders the latest update about HRDD.
  • To Explore ways to incorporate the updates and insights to better serve the needs of affected migrant communities and relevant stakeholders.
  • To collect feedback from relevant stakeholders and gather valuable on-the-ground insights about the needs and challenges faced by communities to be able to build a collaboration framework, Inclusive Labor monitoring Action Network, and Country Action Plan
